1. Hynan Provided Student Tours
• Hynan gave an affordable and memorable tour of the treasures of Ireland I would have never been able to explore without them such as the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Aaron Islands, and Kylemore Abbey. I feel bad if you missed the iconic singing of our tour guide as we were serenaded down the Ring of Kerry.
2.Volunteering in the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
The community shines brightly during every volunteer opportunity. As we walked in the parade, so many different cultures were represented. The energy was present in the students as we represented UL with many children high-fived and dogs petted.

3.Hook & Ladder
• If you ever find yourself hungry Hook & Ladder on Sarsfield Street is the way to go!
The environment is unmatched for a place to study, relax, and grab a meal.

4. Exploring Downtown Limerick
• I found myself many times in Penny’s for cheap clothing, the Curiosity Shop for knickknacks with a variety of stories, King John’s Castle for history and games, Old Quarter Pub for a bite to eat, and my two favorite bookstores, the Celtic Bookshop and Quay Books.

5.Access to the Bus System
The transportation throughout Limerick has been more than adequate. It is so simple and affordable for college students. While seemingly intimidating at first it is simple to navigate with your student leap card.

6.Meeting the Campus Cat Fred
• A stray cat happily roams the campus, coined the name, Fred, is always up for pets, which is just needed during exam times.
7. Student Engagement
• Student life and the societies on campus provide constant activities to keep yourself occupied
8. Being a Global Ambassador
• Beyond an amazing opportunity! I would recommend it to anyone who wants a place to feel more belonging in the tight community that this experience offers. It put me in touch with a variety of people with diverse interests. Along with many opportunities to put me into activities on campus, I get to be a representation of everything study abroad offers.
