Studying abroad can be challenging sometimes, especially when you’re on a tight budget and need to be mindful of your expenditure. Here are some of the retail stores in Ireland that offer a Student Discount or Vouchers for their products, so that you can make every cent count!
- Boots
Boots is a one-stop shop for over-the-counter drugs and vitamins, beauty products, bath and body products, haircare products, perfumes and much more. Simply show your student ID during your checkout to enjoy a 10% student discount.
Do not forget to apply for a Boots Advantage Card as well, it’s free! Every euro spent would be converted into points which would then be stored as store credits in your Boots App. The next time you spend in Boots, you could use these points to pay for your products.
2. JustEat
While JustEat doesn’t have a specific student discount programme, they frequently offer promotions and discounts that students can take advantage of. Keep an eye on their website or sign up for their newsletter to get the latest deals. Additionally, using student discount platforms like UNiDAYS or Student Beans can sometimes provide exclusive codes for extra savings.

3. UberEats
UberEats offers a student discount program through partnerships with UNiDAYS and Student Beans. 4. Deliveroo

5. Tesco
Clubcard members receive many benefits such as reduced-priced products as well as store credit from the points collected when they scan their Clubcard upon checkout.
Applying for a Tesco Clubcard is totally free. Once you have registered and applied online, your Clubcard will be delivered to you by post.
6. Lidl
Each week, Lidl offers Lidl Plus members certain grocery products at a discounted price. There are also incredible savings that you can enjoy when you activate your coupons for weekly products and scan your Lidl Plus card on the App upon checkout. On top of that, they offer digital scratch cards so that you can ‘Scratch and Win’ some free items like a bar of chocolate or a pastry!
To become a Lidl Plus member, you simply need to download the Lidl App and register yourself online. Your card will then be on the App which makes it even more convenient. Digital receipts would also be available on the App, which is more environmentally friendly.
7. Revolut
Using Revolut is very convenient in the EU. It has a very useful feature where it allows you to do instant transfers to your friends or even to split a bill with them. Revolut offers different plans with different benefits. Their standard plan is free which you can apply for online and pay a small fee for the physical card which would then be posted to you.
Paying with Revolut when shopping at certain retail stores allows you to either pay in instalments or enjoy cashback benefits of up to 3%. These retail stores include Ray-Ban, Currys, Gymshark, Kate Spade and many more!
