Meera Aashika, India
My name is Meera Aashika and I am from India. I am currently pursuing masters in Software Engineering. I am a fun loving person and I like to meet new people and explore new places. I was literally on cloud nine when I got the acceptance letter from UL as it was my dream university. And today I’m here as a student as well as an International student ambassador. I am a social media bug and you can call Facebook and Instagram as my second home. Ireland is a heaven on earth with its exquisite beauty and unparalleled cultural heritage, I am very happy to be here.

University of limerick is one of the best universities in the world and it has a diversified perception about student life, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”! So come on! Let’s have some fun also. The clubs and societies stops us from living a monotonous student life and fills in colors into our daily activities. The international society took us on number of trips and tours through which I am exploring the exotic locations of Ireland.

“To travel is to take a journey within yourself” I came here to explore new places and also to explore my inner potential. So I think I have taken a right step in a very positive direction by joining UL.

Precious Lee, India
My name is Precious Lee, from Kerala, India. I am currently pursuing MSc Project Management in UL. Before coming to Ireland, I did my Bachelors in Business Management from the Jain University, Bangalore. Staying away from my best friends and family was really hard for me, but I can’t believe how fast I was able to adapt to the change. Ireland has literally fascinated me with its mesmerising beauty. It has just been five weeks and much of the city is yet to explore. I never expected to see so much greenery elsewhere except my native.
The Irish people are caring and friendly and they make me feel at home. Let it be any issue, the people are down to earth and ready to help. I came to meet new people from different parts of the world. It is fun to hang out with them, taste new food and do shopping. There are also many clubs and societies in UL that organize activities to keep us engaged. About the study, my class is filled with fabulous people who have a lot to share. The library is one place that impressed me the most. Seeing how others spend the time here motivates me to do my research. I prefer to study in such peaceful and energetic atmosphere. It has tons of books to cover all my questions.
I was admitted to UL at the last point of time and had to do some hard work in the limited time. But, it was worth the efforts. I see this phase as a lucky opportunity and like to enjoy every bit of it. There are so lot to experience here. I recommend everyone to pick UL as I am sure it can’t get better than this!
