When you finally make the life-changing decision of doing a study abroad, it comes down to significant questions like , “ Which country should I go to? Which university should I choose?” Well, for me I was always biased towards coming to Ireland. However, choosing from multiple universities was the real struggle for me. I ended up in UL, and certainly, after a month, I could guarantee you that you can never regret coming to UL, no matter what course ( the term for ‘major’ here is ‘course’ ) you are pursuing.
I am going to list out 6 reasons why UL should be your unequivocal/obvious choice/move.
Campus and Management
There’s not much to say when I state the fact that UL got the “ Best Student Campus” Award. Wherever you are coming from, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of this campus. Along with its beauty, it’s also a very lively campus where you can’t possibly be bored. There is ALWAYS something to do. Free Events all the time!!! The management will never upset you.

Multitude of modules to choose from
There’s absolutely no way you will NOT find modules that are necessary to finish your degree. UL will definitely give you more options than you desire.

Diversity on Campus
One of the perks of studying abroad is meeting people from diverse places. There is a HUGE International Society and you will find people from all around the globe here.
Clubs/Societies
UL Wolves is the home of UL Clubs and Societies. There are so many active clubs and societies that you will start wondering if there is anything missing at all. It is a place for athletes, bookworms, movie freaks, music lovers, travelers, photographers and what not.
Travelling and trips
Okay, so this is one of the best things for sure. Most of my friends who are studying abroad in other places don’t have this facility . The clubs and societies have trips EVERY WEEKEND and it’s pretty affordable. You would have multiple options to choose from. I have met some of my great friends during weekend trips and had the greatest moments of my life in these trips. Singing and dancing with friends until 3 am while knowing that there is an 8 am bus to catch is simply an incomparable feeling. It’s about living that moment and disregarding stress. It’s about those unforgettable nights when you forget about what’s important for your life rather focus on what’s important for your soul.

Coffee Lovers
I am obsessed with coffee, and I love studying in cafés with a hot cup of coffee. So, if you are like me, you are going to love it here, because there’s about 9 cafés just on campus. Can life get any better?
‘Once in a Lifetime’ experience comes automatically with the term “ study abroad” but UL will give you an experience which is ‘Once in many Lifetimes’.
