Life at UL by Hanbin Yao, UL International Student Ambassador

Hello everyone, I’m Hanbin from China. I came to UL last year. After I got off the bus at UL, I was deeply attracted to the natural beauty of the campus. I walked with friends in the campus to appreciate the scenery for more than two hours.

This is Thomond Student Village that I live in. It is a very nice village next to the River Shannon.

The Living Bridge is one of the most famous architectures in UL.

UL provides a very good environment for studying. There are two computer rooms on the Ground Floor of the library. Many students study in the library after class.

There are many activities every week in UL, such as the Farmers Market, free lunchtime Traditional music and dance performances and parties in the stables club.  I joined in the UL to Limerick City Cycle Tour last weekend. We gathered in UL at the Brown Thomas Statue and cycled to Limerick city. We arrived at Arthur’s Quay Park, Hunt Museum, Potato Market, King John’s Castle and Treaty Stone. After the tour, we had a small party in the stables.
